1981

Didn’t go to school – Sally and Alan came down and we went for a walk around the country park while mum had her hair done.

1982

Went over town with Anna, bought a bag. Met Mary in Debenhams. Mum played her record at the wong speed!

1983

Majorettes was good. Sue Dibden joined. Went to Beaulieu with Sally and Alan and saw some model aeroplanes. Frank and kids came down, no Krys as she is ill. Saw Jane Akhurst and Jane Marchant’s boyfriends.

1984

Went to Sally and Alan’s and his mum and dad arrived. Met Paul Kimber over town, Boogies, then to Victory, quite good. Saw Scott.

1985

Bev not in in the morning, something about her nerves? Wendy was crying in Mr Gouldie’s office. Phil came round and we watched the final episode of Widows, which was very good.
