Diary of a 17 year old girl to a 21 year old married woman…

April 29th

Maths exam was okay, not too difficult. We were allowed to come home afterwards. I took Kelly out for a walk by myself. Majorettes was good, started to make up a new routine.

Margaret went to a funeral today. I went up Anna’s house and met her friend, stayed there until about 11:50, so her friend drove me home.

Did the assistant court clerk job today and went over the road with the trolley. Mr MacDonald was ill. Met Steve, Dave, Henry and someone else on a motorbike, chatted for a while.

Went to Boscombe with mum, dad, Nadina, Gary and Jean, it was a bit windy. Went to the New Forest afterwards for a walk. Norma has resigned from majorettes.

Met Phil dinnertime, took some photos in photobooth, went to book Rolls Royce and then had a meal at George’s restaurant in Southampton.
