1981

I did six sides of the rubik’s cube today, but only because mum got me a book which told you how to do it! Had study leave today, so didn’t go to school. Watched Man Alive, the car crash episode.

1982

Jan back at work, but she’s still looks ill. Went to training, not much doing. Had a driving lesson today, wasn’t very good. Watched Butterflies which was good.

1983

Margaret was in a good mood at work today. Met Sue French and Julie Gordon in the railway cut, had a chat with them. Fame was good, Jimmy Osmond was in it.

1984

Had my hair cut today, really like it. Went to fun netball tournament, we won three and lost two. Played badminton with mum and dad.

1985

Went for a walk with Phil today, looked at a couple of show houses. I made Spaghetti Bolognese for us all today.
