1981

It rained for most of today, Sally, Alan and Kelly came round and so did Lisa in the afternoon, we played cards most of the time.

1982

Driving lesson was good – put in for my test, Anna already has her booked. Germany won the Eurovision Song Contest. Had my hair cut, it looks okay.

1983

Majorettes was okay, teaching I Can Do Anything Better Than You Can, two of them can do the splits! Went down Royal Victoria Country Park, met Henry, then Steve, then Dave. Told Steve and Dave I’m not gonna see them anymore.

1984

Back to work today. I got a postcard from Allan from America. Pete phoned, phoning again tomorrow.

1985

Spent today phoning around for a horse and carriage for wedding, might be lucky. The solicitors phone, we can move into the flat a month from today!
