1981
Went to see Superman at the cinema with Lisa, Anna, Richard and Ton, it was quite good. There was a funny little boy in the queue.
1982
Went to a NALGO meeting at work. Saw Gregory’s Girl at the pictures with Anna, bus conductor let us off paying our fare.
1983
Went to Sally and Alan’s and saw their new settee, then we went to Tesco’s, saw Nadina there. Took Bruce for a walk towards Hamble, met Dave and Steve joined us later.
1984
Went to Butlins with mum and dad, saw Pete there with a boy and two girls. Phone him up but he was out.
1985
Overslept and got into work at 8.40! Went to Hursley and got a lovely bride’s dress and a veil and tiara, cost £140 altogether, which dad paid for.
