1981
Sally won a competition on Radio Solent, she won a steam train trip and she’s going to take me with her! Majorettes was good, we finished the dance twirl.
1982
Mum and dad went metal detecting with their new metal detector and found 50p. Watched Sorry TV programme with Ronnie Corbett.
1983
Jan and Karen off sick today at work. Met Dave in the morning and dinner time, watched Happy Birthday To Me on video, Steve came round, he wanted to talk to Dave.
1984
Went to Lee-On-Solent – think I saw John Summers coming back home. Done a tape for the car tomorrow.
1985
The bus broke down at Newtown, didn’t get to work until about 9.30. Went to see Rick Mayall at the Gaumont.
