April 19th

1981

The family came down. Aunty Rene and Arthur didn’t come as she was ill. Got a lot of Easter eggs. Jonathan, Hannah and Richard stayed with us and we watched Murder On The Orient Express.

1982

Work was okay – Margaret walked into the office with a wig on as though it was the most natural thing! Found out later it was because she couldn’t be bothered to wash her hair!! Sally and Alan are renting a maisonette. Bought Bardo single, One Step Further and a face pack for tonight.

1983

Not much work until 1/4 past four – spent the evening listening to music with Steve.

1984

Dad bought a new car today. Nadina told me that Jan is having an affair! Went up to Sally’s, talking about when we used to go to Holland.

1985

Met Phil after work, went for a drink down the Prince Consort, really changed, a lot smarter now.
