April 1st
1981
Lots of April Fool jokes at school today, even the teachers did some! Majorettes was good, Mrs. H and Amanda liked my Born To Be Alive routine, they asked me to teach it to the others.
1982
Went to HQ today and met Karen there. Caught the train home from Winchester and saw some old school friends on there. We finished at quarter to four and tomorrow we’re finishing at three!
1983
We took Bruce to the New Forest in the car, he kept farting all the time! He got very dirty! Got a letter from Saturday Superstore with some stickers in it.
1984
Went to the dentist, he didn’t take out the tooth, he built it up. Practised my solo – mum and dad went to see The Sound of Music at the theatre.
1985
Jean got engaged to Roger on Saturday. Phil bought me really nice trousers and top.
