Diary of a 17 year old girl to a 21 year old married woman…

March 31st

1981

Finished Born To Be Alive routine. Science was funny, talking about babies and umbilical cords.

1982

Went back to work today. Margaret wasn’t there, I’m going to HQ tomorrow and Friday. We played mimes in the afternoon!

1983

Margaret is going to have an operation, she’ll be off May, June and July! Did Sheila’s job, didn’t enjoy it very much. Took Bruce for a walk around the RVH.

1984

Did overtime at work – half 10 to half 1, then went to majorettes. Then went down to Sue’s house.

1985

Went to the Ideal Home Exhibition in Earl’s Court with Phil today. It was really good, we bought a vegetable steamer. (Update: this vegetable steamer is still going strong today!)
