1981

Dad liked his present I gave him. School was okay, we had Liberal Studies with Mr. Sengupta. Lisa didn’t go to majorettes today.

1982

Had my meeting with Mr. MacDonald today, it was about the Outward Bound trip. Phoned Anna up about maybe going to London for the day. Went to bed early, don’t feel very well, stomach ache.

1983

Took Bruce for a walk, then me and mum went over town. Bought dad’s present and a few things for Bruce. Took Bruce for a long walk up to Sally’s.

1984

Did assistant court clerk duties today. Went over town in the evening with Sue, went for a drink, then bought a Kentucky Fried Chicken and ate it while we walked home.

1985

Did the afternoon trips at work today, up to post office in London Road and Prosecuting Solicitor’s office. Work experience girl started today. Phil came round and said that an insurance policy came out today – £121.
