1981

Sally had a little girl called Kelly! Wore my new jeans and shoes to school, Carol and Wendy liked them. We went to the hospital in the evening to see Sally and the new baby!

1982

Went to see Mr MacDonald over in the Guildhall, he told me that I can go on the outward bound course from June 25th to July 15th! Met Liz down the village.

1983

Margaret called us all into her office to say that she’s going to have an operation and will be off work for a long time. Dad wasn’t feeling very well, he went to the doctors. Frida was on Top Of The Pops.

1984

College was only until 12.30 today. Visited Sally on my way home. Went down to Sue’s in the evening, Steve phoned and finished with her. She’s spending the night at my house.

1985

Saw the maisonette at Bitterne, needs a lot of decorating. Don’t think we’ll be buying this one!
