1981

Went to majorettes today – lady from Kent came to the session to go through the Silver Award, it’s really difficult, not even sure I’ll be able to do it! On the plus side, I did one side of the Rubik’s Cube!!

1982

Margaret was off work today, so Jan was in charge, we didn’t do much work, had the radio on! I wrote out my letter of resignation for the Echo job.

1983

Sally had a baby boy at 6:55. They’ve called him Lee Reginald, after our dad. Alan dropped off Kelly at our house, we went for a walk with her. My new glasses are ready!!

1984

Sharon was crying at work, I found her in the toilets, she was upset about something Margaret had said to her. I felt sorry for her, she’s such a nice woman. Thinking about dying my hair blonde.

1985

Done ADP at work today, I quite like doing this job. Met Phil at dinnertime and we went to Hamble after work and had a drink at The Harrier pub.
