March 10th
1981
School was okay today – Mr Webster, our English teacher is in hospital, he’s got pneumonia! Did my RSA Typing exam today, did it early with a couple of others. It was budget day today, 20p on petrol!
1982
Went to running training at Sports Centre today with Bev, Nadina and Jean. We did the 100 metres, which I wasn’t very good at. Sally is in hospital, she had a miscarriage. We went to visit her, it was awful as she was still having contractions.
1983
Got up and had a bath and washed my hair. I walked to Sally’s flat, she’s gone to hospital, they think it might be twins!
1984
Went down to Sue’s house and we watched Blue Lagoon and 9 to 5.
1985
Went to town with Phil and got two videos, West Side Story and Life of Brian. Had a Kentucky Fried Chicken and then caught the bus to Phil’s house and had dinner.
