1981
Mr Hawkins missed the whole maths lesson – we just sat around talking. It was funny in French cos Miss Bagley asked me what doesn, “Je ne sais pas” mean and I said, “I don’t know, ” which is I don’t know in French!!!! Watched Malice Aforethought which was great, about a man trying to commit the perfect murder!
1982
Bought Dollar’s new single, Ring Ring. Anna didn’t come round tonight her Gran died last night. Sally is still ill, so Pam brought Kelly round for team.
1983
Went to town with mum, bought a new denim jacket and had my eyes tested, order new glases, but they won’t be ready until about 2/3 weeks. Lisa phoned to say that the new majorette troup is starting tomorrow morning at 10.00 AM!!!
1984
Went jogging with Sue, had a meeting for BSN Twirlers, they decided if you have three warnings then you’re asked to leave the troupe!
1985
Phil’s been trying to find out about our mortgage application, he’s phoned five times! We just wanna know if everything is still going ahead!! Buying a flat is so stressful!!
