1981
Went over town with Angie and Carol. Bought S-T-R-E-T-C-H jeans and shoes. Got an old Abba album, Waterloo plus Mother’s Day present.
1982
Pam, Roy, Sally, Alan and Kelly came round in the afternoon as it was Mother’s Day. Mum liked her present from me.
1983
Spent dinner time with Nadina and Bev – it rained really hard and we got soaked! Not much work today, so Margaret made up a game with famous people’s initials, I didn’t understand it and I don’t think the others did either!
1984
I got a lovely letter from Neil today, thanking me for his Garfield. I didn’t go to work today, spent all day in bed.
1985
Phil wasn’t at work today – we went to see an insurance woman. Phil had an interview for a new job at The Dolphin Hotel.
